Event Atmosphere & Experience:
This being our first ever "Blood Event" type of Haunt Experience at The Haunted Hotel we were not disappointed! Kudos goes out to the Staff who put this Event together. We had a great time getting to experience one of Our Favorite Hometown Haunts in a new perspective/experience. Outside we did not see any signs of a special event going on at the Hotel, but don't let that fool you, cause once inside we were for sure in for a Bloody Good Time!
The moment we walked across the street to get our tickets, and our Special Blood Experience T-Shirts we were greeted by some Old Friends like Our Buddy Zizzle and New Creepy Friends, and even a very Special Haunt Review Friend Lindsay Bacon who is very near to us, which made us feel right at Home! Shout out goes out to DJ David Slone for keeping us and everyone in line entertained as we waited to enter The Hotel. David kept the crowd engaged throughout the night, and everyone seemed to love it! One thing we really enjoyed while waiting in line were the Characters walking around in the queue line spraying people as we waited. It was like a preview for what we were about to experience, and you never knew where they would pop up or when they were going to spray us. This was a great touch!
Once inside The Hotel, the Summer of Blood Event truly Began... Almost every scene we encountered we were asked to either interact with something in that scene or we were victims of getting marked with Blood. Congratulations goes out to me, as I did manage to find a Room Key in the very yucky gooey filled suitcase during our second visit! The scenes throughout The Hotel did not change for the Summer of Blood event, except one that we noticed, but this did not damper the event at all. We always love to visit The Hotel and take in all the amazing details each room has to offer. We really enjoyed the scenes that we did encounter the blood experience because we never knew where it was hidden at or where it would be coming from. As you can see in the photos below we walked out each night super Bloody and Evil Smiles on our Faces!!!!
Cast/Actors:
Kudos goes out to each and every Actor that we encountered outside The Hotel and during our visit inside The Hotel. Despite the harsh Summer in Kentucky heat the Actors kicked there acting into High Gear, and we LOVED every minute of it! We did encounter a new Crew of Actors it seemed, and each night we visited there were a different set of them throughout The Hotel. Each set of Actors did a fantastic job and we can not wait to see them in full swing come full blown Haunt Season! The Cast is very strong thus far.
Shout Out goes out to the two very creepy Girls that were inside the Elevator each night during the Event. I loved their interaction with us and what was going on inside the Elevator ride. This took the creep factor up a notch and we loved every bit of it! Keep that up and you will have some very Frightened Guests this Haunt Season! "Evil Laugh Inserted Here :)" Thank You to every one who was involved with putting on an amazing show each night! We look forward to the main Haunt Season and can't wait to see you all again very soon....
