This Seasons Actors really stepped up and Amped up their Scares for sure! During our visit through the Haunt every Character we encountered was totally committed to their role! Kudos to the Entire Cast Honestly! Every scene that we ventured through the Character or Characters managed to either freak us out, or scare us, and we loved every bit of it. The Cast really made us totally feel like we were part of a Horror Movie or even our worst Nightmares! There were lots of jump scares, which really seemed to work on our group since we always love the unexpecting scares. :)
Customer Service: 8.5
Customer Service was very good during our visit. We were greeted with a friendly Hello, and a Thanks for Stopping By at the Ticket Booth. The Staff at the photo booth was very friendly as well. The ticket takers were very quiet sorta, as they almost seemed to be in their own world, but it was pretty busy the night we visited.
Scare Rating: 8.5
The Actors did a good job at jump scaring us as we ventured through their sets. This included many scares that immersed us into their set, and then all of a sudden BAM the Actor would come out of no where and scare us. This was the most effective scare that we encountered during our journey. Almost every scene we ventured through gave our group some sort of scare, or creeped us out all together.
Atmosphere: 9.5
The atmosphere of each set design that we encountered was AMAZING!!! I was blown away at how the Haunt had changed so much since last Season as well. The sets we so detailed it was almost like we were on set for a Horror Movie at times. Some scenes that we did encounter could have used a little bit more light, but that low lighting did help with the Actors scares and helped set the tone for that scene. But all in all AMAZING job on the Set Design for sure. Kudos goes out to the Build Crew!!!
Special Effects: 8
Special effects were present in most scenes, but not all were being utilized. We did encounter many different trick of the eye special effects, and lighting effects. Some scenes that we encountered did seem to be having some technical issues, but the Actors for sure made up for these missing special effects. One scene that we were blown away by involved a new spin on the Frogg'ys Fog swamp effect. We don't want to give this new especial effect away so you will just have to experience it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!
Value: 8
The value was worth it. The wait was not very long at all once they started to let the visitors into the Haunt. We did enjoy our Journey through the Haunt and was very well entertained.. We did enjoy the que line entertainment, which was the same as last Season. The Clown that was stalking the Visitors in line snuck up behind our group multiple times and gave us a fright with his horn, which was very entertaining! :)
New Scenes: 9
The few new scenes that we did encounter this Season were AMAZING!!! The new scenes were so well detailed and really immersed us into the scene very well. New Scenes included Alien, Hansel and Gretel, and Jeepers Creepers. The Annabel scene seemed new to us as well. Lot's of scenes we walked through were redecorated or totally new from what we could tell during our visit. The Build/Design Crew really did a great job with the new additions and changes to the Trails this Season! We also loved the new additions that the Midway area had to offer. There was a newly added Photo Booth Tent, Axe throwing, and even a Bon Fire Area along with seating for guests who would like to sit down and enjoy a concession stand treat.
Time Inside Haunt: 8
Our Journey inside the Haunt was decent time wise. During your Journey you will encounter 3 different "Haunts" or sections of the Haunt. It took our group about 40 minutes to Journey through all parts of the Haunt. We were not rushed through or pushed through any of the scenes that we encountered during our Journey. The Monsters do allow you to take your time and not be rushed through their scene, however do keep in mind that there may be another group not too far behind you so you may be greeted with them if you take too long inside a certain scene.
